Terms of Use

Version 2026-10-03Last updated October 3, 2026
Important: Confianza is a portfolio-risk information and education product. It is not a broker, investment adviser, fiduciary, tax adviser, lawyer, or trading service. It does not place trades or tell you what you must buy or sell.

1. Agreement and service availability

By creating or using a Confianza account, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Notice. The service may be offered as an invite-only or private access and may change, be limited, or be unavailable while features are tested.

2. What Confianza provides

Confianza analyzes portfolio information and market/reference data to show risk measures, concentration, diversification, historical simulations, portfolio-change previews, alerts, and explanatory content. Outputs are intended to help you understand a portfolio you already own. They are informational and educational only.

3. No investment advice, recommendation, or fiduciary duty

Confianza does not provide individualized investment, securities, legal, tax, accounting, or financial-planning advice. Nothing in the service is an offer, solicitation, endorsement, recommendation, or instruction to buy, sell, hold, rebalance, or trade any security. No adviser-client, broker-client, fiduciary, agency, or similar relationship is created by your use of the service. Confianza does not undertake a duty to monitor your portfolio for your benefit or to act in your best interest.

4. Your decisions and investment risk

You remain solely responsible for your investment decisions, orders, timing, portfolio construction, and use of any information shown by Confianza. Markets can move unpredictably and investments can lose value. Historical results, stress tests, risk scores, scenarios, correlations, model outputs, and other analytics are not predictions or guarantees of future results.

5. Market and portfolio data

Market, reference, holdings, and account data may be delayed, incomplete, stale, unavailable, estimated, normalized, or supplied by third parties. We may cache or transform permitted data to calculate analytics. You should independently verify information that is material to a financial decision.

6. Broker connectivity

Broker connections are read-only unless we clearly state otherwise. Confianza does not receive authority to place, modify, or cancel trades or move money through the current private-access connection flow. Broker connectivity may be provided through third-party connection services. By choosing to connect an account, you authorize Confianza and those service providers to retrieve the account and portfolio data you select so Confianza can synchronize holdings and related analytics. A third-party provider or your brokerage may also present its own terms or privacy notice during the connection flow.

7. Account security and permitted use

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and account access, using the service lawfully, and providing accurate information. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, probe other users' data, interfere with the service, scrape restricted data, reverse engineer security controls, or use the service for unlawful market activity.

8. Product analytics and quality

We may collect product-usage, diagnostic, reliability, error, performance, and support information to operate, secure, test, debug, and improve Confianza. Additional optional uses of account content for model improvement are governed by any separate controls or consents shown in the product. See the Privacy Notice for details.

9. Third-party services

Confianza may rely on broker-connectivity, authentication, hosting, market-data, analytics, and other third-party services. Their availability and terms are outside our control. Your use of a third-party service may also be subject to that provider's terms and privacy notice.

10. Availability and changes

We may add, remove, suspend, limit, or change product features, data sources, models, integrations, or access at any time. We may also suspend accounts to protect users, data, service integrity, or legal compliance.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or investment outcome. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Confianza and its owners, affiliates, personnel, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost opportunities, trading losses, loss of data, or losses arising from reliance on analytics, market data, alerts, scenarios, or third-party services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

13. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights.

14. Termination

You may stop using Confianza at any time and may request account deletion through the product. We may suspend or end access for security, abuse, legal, provider, operational, or product reasons.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product changes. If a change is material, we will require renewed acceptance or provide notice appropriate to the change before continued use.

16. Questions

For questions about these Terms, use the in-product feedback channel or contact the administrator who invited you to the private access.
