Privacy Notice

Version 2026-10-03Last updated November 1, 2026
Summary: Confianza uses account and portfolio data to provide portfolio-risk analytics. We also collect product-usage and diagnostic data to operate, secure, test, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information.

1. Information we collect

Depending on the features you use, we may collect: account information such as name, email, authentication identifiers, settings, and consent records; portfolio and brokerage information such as connected accounts, positions, quantities, balances, transactions or activities available through the connection, and connection status; information you submit such as risk preferences, feedback, imported files, and questions; and technical information such as browser/device details, timestamps, request identifiers, page or feature interactions, performance measurements, error logs, and security events.

2. Broker credentials

Where a broker connection uses a third-party connection portal, broker login credentials are entered with that provider rather than directly into Confianza. Confianza receives the account data and connection identifiers made available after you authorize the connection. We may change or add broker-connectivity providers as the private access evolves.

3. How we use information

We use information to authenticate users; connect and synchronize authorized accounts; calculate and display portfolio-risk analytics; maintain historical portfolio and risk records; provide alerts and explanations; secure accounts and prevent abuse; troubleshoot errors; measure reliability and performance; respond to support and feedback; test and improve product quality; and comply with legal or provider obligations.

4. Quality and product analytics

We collect product-usage and diagnostic telemetry so we can understand whether features work correctly, find bugs, measure speed and reliability, and improve the experience. This can include the page or feature used, interaction events, API timing, error details, and related technical context. If Confianza offers a separate setting for using account content to improve models, that setting governs the optional model-improvement use described there.

4A. Optional experience evidence history

When you expressly enable Experience Evidence History in the app, Confianza records a separate, protected audit trail to investigate disputed on-screen calculations and actions. It may include exact financial values displayed in specifically marked portfolio fields, the account page, which on-screen control was activated, time stamps, application version, and encrypted excerpts of selected financial API results, signed response fingerprints, and server-reported operation outcomes. It does not record screen videos, every page, passwords, brokerage login credentials, typed private messages, or keystrokes. Browser reports are not independent proof that you personally viewed or understood content. Evidence is used for account-integrity investigations and resolving disputes, not advertising or AI training. Exact encrypted event details are retained for up to 180 days, then removed from the routine record while signed receipt metadata may be retained for up to 730 days; properly documented dispute preservation holds may extend those periods. You may stop future detailed collection using the in-app preference; previously stored evidence follows the applicable retention, deletion, and lawful preservation rules. Ordinary server security and product diagnostics remain distinct from this optional feature.

5. Market and reference data

Confianza may store market, security, ETF, and other reference data that is not specific to you. Derived analytics may combine that reference data with your portfolio data. Data-source rights and retention may vary by provider.

6. How we share information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the product, such as authentication, hosting, database, broker-connectivity, market-data, security, and infrastructure providers, only as needed for those functions and subject to applicable agreements. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business reorganization subject to applicable safeguards. We do not sell personal information to advertisers.

7. Retention

We retain account and portfolio information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain accurate historical analytics, meet security or legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods can differ by data type. When data is no longer needed, we aim to delete or de-identify it subject to backups, legal requirements, and third-party provider obligations.

8. Your choices and rights

You can update product settings, disconnect supported broker connections, export user-owned account data, and request account deletion from the Settings area. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. We may need to verify your identity before acting on certain requests.

9. Security

We use access controls, encrypted transport, restricted server credentials, row-level data protections, logging, and other technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect data. No system can guarantee absolute security.

10. International processing

Service providers may process information in locations different from where you live. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for cross-border processing.

11. Children

Confianza is not intended for children and the private access is not offered to anyone under the minimum age required to consent to the service in their jurisdiction.

12. Third-party privacy notices

Third-party services used for authentication, hosting, market data, or broker connectivity have their own privacy practices. A broker-connectivity provider or your brokerage may present its privacy notice when you connect an account.

13. Changes to this Notice

We may update this Privacy Notice as the service changes. Material changes may be presented for renewed acknowledgement or otherwise communicated before they take effect where required.

14. Questions

For privacy questions or requests, use the in-product feedback channel, account-deletion/export controls, or contact the administrator who invited you to the private access.
